GO BACK FOR HER

In the hospital, Elena finally opened her eyes. She looked around weakly and noticed the woman who had rushed her to the hospital sitting beside her.

The woman was sleeping. As Elena tried to sit up, she winced in pain. The woman opened her eyes, and said, "You are awake. Please rest, don't try to move. Why did you do that yesterday? You just ran into my car."

"I am sorry," Elena said weakly. "I was being chased by two guys, and they wanted to force themselves on me."

As the memory came back to Elena, as well as everything that happened, she broke down and began to cry.

"It's okay," the woman said. "It's okay, don't cry anymore."

The doctor came in at this point and said, "You are lucky nothing happened to the baby. You are really lucky."

The woman stared at Elena in surprise and back at the doctor. "Is she pregnant?" she asked.

"Yes, almost five weeks," the doctor replied.
