Chapter 88. Hostage

Adrianna opened her eyes slowly. Her head was pounding, she felt weak and sick to her stomach. She lay on a hard single bed. The room was dim,there was a glimpse of light from a tiny window at the far corner of the room. She shivered as the cold crept into her bones. She lifted her hands to wipe her burning eyes but could not. They were tied behind her back and so were her legs, bound together at the ankles. She tried to scream but her throat was too dry, only a hoarse whisper left her lips.

She could feel a sway , a gentle rocking motion beneath her body. She lifted herself up and hopped to the window. She could see the night sky. The stars looked beautiful and the moonlight eluminated a small part of the room. she could hear waves, the cal sound of the ocean. Her eyes shot open in shock, She was in the middle of the ocean.
