CHAPTER 38

CEDRIC'S POV

A few months ago, when Vanessa met Henry after becoming my woman, she'd call Alexander's name in her sleep. She can't remember after waking up but it's different for me, I can remember how she longingly calls for Alexander's name and it crushes my heart.

I've been making sure that Vanessa never gets to bump into someone else in her pack most especially those who are related to Alexander. I'd give useless reason's every time she asks to go out as to why I can't let her go alone. All this time, Vanessa only gets to go outside as long as I'm beside her. I didn't expect her to go out alone when I'm not around.

I'm mad at her but I can't blame her for her actions. Vanessa is the type of person who does whatever she sees fit. She's hard-headed and prideful, but she never goes beyond her limitations. Everyone who knows my abilities might think I'm scary and dangerous, but to be honest I'm just a coward and a fool.
