In your dreams

Isabella's POV.

"Hello Miss!" A voice came from behind.

Looking behind me is one of the security guards I had met earlier in the day, before my speech. He was the one that shoved me to this place, as I was confused about which of the halls the conference would be taking place in.

I was a little bit late to this event; the cab driver who brought me was damn too slow, and my school is a lot of miles from here. I would have missed it, and this wouldn't be good for me at all. This is the first time my school is sending me to represent an update course at Hackensack University Medical Center. It is indeed a great honor and privilege, and I must say I did a great job. I could see it in the eyes of those consultants.

"Miss, there is a young man standing just down the hallway waiting for you; he has been there for some minutes now." The guard said to me

"Ok,but who could that be?" I asked him, but he looked very confused as well.

"Sebastian Swarex!" I shrieked excitedly.

"Yes, I am Sabastin!" He was startled.

HUGGING.

We hugged each other so tightly. Sebastian was so nice to me in high school. As one of the billionaire's sons in our class, it was expected of him to mingle with other high-class students, but he didn't. Rather, he chose a different path for himself; he was very kind to me and always on his own. He never bragged about his father's money. We became very close and the love birds of our class, but all that ended after school. We lost contact.

Isabella, you have not changed; you look breathtaking and more gloomy now. I must say your beauty is head-turning."

"Can I hold your hands for a second?" He asked me.

I felt those sparks again; his soft hand instantly activated the adrenaline hormones in my body. I felt the butterflies in my stomach again.

"This is my complimentary card; please call me so we can hang out and talk." I said to him.

"My heartbeat was racing fast for nothing, and I was very certain that it was the Isabella of Egypt in that handbook."

"Please, take my card as well. My bodyguard has my suitcase. I don't want to lose this card because now that I have seen you again, I am never going to let you go." He gave me a kiss on my hand.

Hands clapping.

Bianca sighted us, and fury dimmed in her contact-lens eyes.

"Well done! Well done!  Bianca Jones clapped her hands.

I shrank away from her as she got closer.

"Welcome back from hell; why didn't you die in that accident?" You bitch!" She snarled.

Oh, she knew about the accident and never came to visit me in the hospital; she never even cared to tell Sebastian." I thought under my breath.

"We haven't seen each other in years now, and this is what you have to say? You have not changed one bit, Bianca Jones!" I shook my head in disgust.

She propped her hands on her hips and scowled.

"Just so you know, Sabastian and I are having a flamboyant date tonight at one of the best hotels here in New York!" She snorted.

She walked towards Sebastian and his waist and grabbed his face, saying, "Right sweatie! Go ahead and tell her how our parents paid for a luxurious hotel for our first date as couples."

"What couples?" Sebastian yelled.

Sebastian dragged her to a corner while I crossed my arms and watched the drama, even though I could barely hear a word they said.

As much as I hate to admit it, I felt really bad about her words. I feel so jealous looking at both of them together, but I have to put my emotions in check.

"I don't think I am ready to give us a chance; I wouldn't want to get burned in this fire; the Jones family is very powerful." I thought to myself while I looked up, trying to stop those tears from rolling down my cheek. I can't give her the pleasure of seeing my tears.

"Have you lost your mind? How dare you call us a couple in front of Isabella?" He groaned.

"All for what? To make her angry or jealous? Tell me, bitch!" Sebastian asked with disdain.

"You had better erase all the memories you guys had in the past; you know better than anyone that you both can't be together."

"What do you see in her? What is it that you see in her that I don't have?" She turned around.

"Isabella is not just beautiful; she is well-mannered, cultured, and industrious. She is peaceful; she would make me a better man, which you can never do for me."

"Getting married to you would be signing a deal with the devil itself." He said to her,

"You are very ridiculous; it is very shameful to think you would leave me for Isabella, a low-class nonentity who has no worth."

Sebastian yanked her arms, and she screamed: "My father will learn of this; your Isabella will pay for your mistakes, mark my word."

"You are a fool; when I thought we could be friends, you made me realize that nothing good could come out of the friendship."

"I can't continue watching these two; I have to go now before Sabastin's father comes out." I muttered

"Isabella! Isabella!"  Sebastian's voice called out.

"Please wait; it is not what you think!" He screamed.

"It's high time she realized she had no place in your life." "It's good she left."

"Shut up!  Crazy-bitch Sebastian snarled at Bianca.

"The driver would be here in 10 minutes to pick us up for our date. My dad had taken care of our bills, and here is the open check he gave us." She smiled.

Sebastian scrunched the check, tore it into pieces, and poured it on her face.

"In your dreams, that will happen." Sebastian pushed her away.
