You are mine

In the conference arena, everyone had all come in from the lunch break, been seated, and was waiting for the last person to give the last update.

One of the members of the coordination team came out on stage to welcome the next person who would give the speech.

"Let's welcome Isabella Elvis, a student doctor from the Hackensack University Medical Center."

Isabella Elvis walked up to the stage, making a shy face. She had a red corporate skirt, dark curly long hair, and a black shirt. She looked astonished.

Sebastian, who had been seated close to his dad, stood up in excitement.

"Dad, she is my Isabella; she is the one." He said it excitedly.

"Shut up, young man!" While clutching a throbbing vein in his neck, he snarled at his son.

"Can I have a word with you?" Bianca walked up to Sabastin.

"Not now, Bianca; the speech just started; can't it wait? I mean, we will be together this evening, remember!" Sebastian whispered to her.

Bianca, a 24 year old girl who has been pestering Sebastian since high school, was never happy with Isabella, and she would do anything back in those days to make trouble with her because she felt Isabella was going to be a traitor to her by getting married to Sabastin. She hated Isabella so much. She didn't really love Sebastian at the beginning, but her parents wanted him for her, so she began to love him obsessively. She would rather kill anyone who stands in her way of getting married to him. The whole thing to her, is like competing with Isabella over who will win his heart in the end.

She promised herself that she would fight against her father's influence to have him for herself, and she is definitely not ever going to give up.

"This bitch is out of the moon again; I thought she had died in the motto accident. I wondered why these godforsaken thugs I paid heavily could not carry out a simple task." Bianca muttered to herself while tapping her foot.

She yanked Sebastian’s shoulder, pulling him out in anger.

"Amanda, have you gone nuts? What is the meaning of what you did there? With his hands in his waist.

"Is that why you came back from London? You planned all this, huh?" She gave an uneven smile.

"I see you have lost it; you and I know that I lost contact with that girl after high school; is this the reason you pulled me out here?"

"May I remind you too that we were never dating, we are not dating, and we could never date?" He turned his gaze sideways.

"You are not getting back with that girl, not when our parents are still alive. You know what they want from us!" She said it angrily.

"We are better friends than lovers; remember when we tried something out?" "The first time you visited me in London, just two days after trying it out, you went to bed with my shovel."

"I apologized, it's all in the past, let's give us another chance!" She said this to him, grabbing his hand and placing it on her chest.

"Exactly what I am saying. I thought we had agreed in the past to keep our friendship as plain as we could. We were cool just being friends; why the sudden change of mind?"

"Because I just realized that we are meant to be, we would make perfect couples."

"Quit being delusional!" He shrugged.

With his face glued to the ground, clattering his car keys, he said, "There is something I needed to ask you but I keep forgetting; how did you find out about that accident four years ago?" "I mean, I got that information from you."

"The news was all over the place; did I do wrong by informing you?" She sighed.

"I never said so, just that you never mentioned anything about it again, and you were here in New York City, so I begged you to help me reach out to her at least to get her complementary cards, and you never returned that favor."

"I didn't? I don't think so. I told you I went to the hospital where she was admitted, and one of the nurses told me she had left with her boyfriend." She lied.

Sebastian widened his eyes while fixing his gaze on his wristwatch.

"Can we go inside now?" He asked her.

No, Sebastian, we can't go inside because we are not done yet." She stopped him with her crossed arms.

Bianca still cannot believe that after all these years, their paths will cross again. She is now more than willing to fight to keep Sebastian all to herself; if she can't be with him, Isabella would never.

"Could you leave my way?" Sebastian pushed her off.

"You would never be with that bitch, not when the Jones-Brown family is still the top lead in this New York City." She pulled on his hands.

"That's the problem here; you literally would never breathe without mentioning your family's wealth." He shook his head.

"I love you, Sebastian; allow us to be; we are of the same class; you are my happiness, and I need you to understand that." She looked pitiful.

Sebastian harrumphed, making a condescending smile.

"You don't love me, woman! You are simply sick in the head!" He chortled.

Bianca screwed her face into a grimace and couldn't contain the pain she felt under his words, so she burst out angrily: "I used to think you were a real man, but now I have seen how pathetic and less of a man you are and would be." Isabella doesn't even have class; she is just a common girl who probably would be sleeping around for some money to take care of her fees.

"Leave my shoulder; you are hurting me; you will regret this, I promise you!" She screamed.

Sabastin yanked her shoulder angrily but left her when she started to scream.

Approaching closer to her, he looked her in the face and said, "Don't ever speak of her in that manner ever again."

He pushed her off his path and went inside the conference arena.

Bianca was shocked, as his reaction towards her was like a windfall that came as a bolt from the blue.

"You are mine, Sebastian Swarex!" She said it confidently.
