Time indeed moved fast when you're having fun.

I was still on a high from being mated to Janna, and the next thing I knew, the weekend was over and I had to drive her back to her city so she could finish what was remaining of her high school days.

She went on pre-plotted absences so she could go to the territory for a month for her shifting, and her birthday. And now, she needed to attend the rest of her school days for the next four months if she wanted to graduate on time.
