Chapter 35
Family is everything for Melissa. The love that she has for her parents, and her siblings, especially Chris. Melissa loves her brother in equal measure, but it's Chris who'os closer to her. Even when they were children, Mellisa would be with Chris. During his practice, even when he's participating on school events. She doesn't have a boyfriend until now, because her standard was alway based on what Chris is.
She wanted a man just like Chris. Sweet, loving, caring, loyal, and most importantly, brave. There bond is so tight that it's Melissa who always sees whenever Chris has a problem. She's always the one who's there for him.
"Chris, we need to talk." Melissa intentionally waited for him to come home so she could talk to Chris.
"Not now, Mel. I'm so tired."
"Yes, now. Something is wrong with you, and you don't want to admit it. Do you think I can't see it? You're at a breaking point. You either go home drunk, or you go home pissed. What're wrong, Chris?"<
