As we drove off from my father's house, the taxi driver asked me, "Miss, where are we headed to?" I ignored him as I was still feeling heartbroken over the fact that I may not be able to see my people again.

" Hello! Aren't you hearing me? hearing me?" He looked back.

"I said, where are we headed?" He asked again.

"Up north, just anywhere up north is fine." I said to him,

"Where exactly do I just waste my diesel carrying you around everywhere in the city?" He snarled.

I didn't just want to talk to him, as I don't even know where I am going. I wouldn't want to go back to my house in the bush, and the security officer warned me not to come back. He was very clear when he said that if I dare come back, I am on my own.

"Where do I go now?" I muttered to myself.

My baby let out a cry, and I discovered I had no bottle water, which I told the driver. "Please, I would love to get a can of water at any supermarket you stumble into."

He nodded.
