CHAPTER 48 - A NEW ABILITY

REIGN.

I made a terrible choice the night before not following my mate. I carried out every other activity quite distorted by his emotions but I dragged myself through everything else.

The sun stretched out in beautiful orange spills above and outside my window. I enjoyed my bath and decided to go out into the open market today. I felt bright and bubbly but a cloud of darkness hid somewhere deep within me a contrast to my actual light hearted mood.

I pushed deeper the feeling and dressed up casually for my outing. I was just hoping to pick out a few groceries and familiarize with the pack members.

Nailah had chosen a pale blue hood and dark blue joggers to match for me. I hid my mystery coloured hair in a cap matching my joggers and sneakers. I of course did not want to draw much attention to myself but I still decided to head out without shades and most definitely without guards.
