Chapter 57

Noticing almost immediately that Eleanor was nowhere to be found, Andreas decided to give it a few more minutes before stepping out. Instantly knowing where to go, he walked a few feet into the forest and stopped at a large oak tree. Looking up, he caught a glimpse of her, sat on one of it's large branches with her back pressed against the large trunk. 

"You didn't eat anything."

He saw her wrap her arms around her legs before she responded with, "I'm not hungry," not sparing him a glance.

With a sigh, he said, "You'll give yourself an ulcer."

With a low voice, he heard her say "I'll rather I have an ulcer than be left, lonely."

Feeling bad but needing her to understand, he let out a breath.

"Bella-"

"What do you want, Andreas?" She asked, looking down at him with sad eyes. 

Inwardly cursing, he began to climb. Eleanor watched as he situated himself a few inches before her, then turned her head the other way.
