Making It Official
Jake and I made our relationship officially that night of the opened mick. Giving each other the chance we had for ever long ago dreamed of. He went and talked to my mom and Phill, called dad and talked to him asking for his blessing. Don't ask, it's a country boy thing... a really special tradition I love they have.... to ask for a blessing on a relationship.
Last we drove to his house and went to Craig and Lorraine, his parents. She hugged me and looked at him hitting his hand, when we gave them the news.
