Chapter 16: Seraphina

SERAHPNA POV

‘Seraphina! Seraphina!’ A voice yelled into my head. ‘Seraphina! Wake up!’

The sound od my father’s voice in my head woke me out of my slumber. A dull throb continued from earlier’s fall.

‘Yes, dad, what is it?’ I rubbed my eyes with the heals of my palms.

‘I need you to listen to me. There isn’t much time. Are you alone?’

I quickly took in my sorroundsing, causing a dizzy spell. I let out a groan. ‘Yes I am alone. What’s going on?’

A wave of uneasiness hit me as if my father’s feelings were telepathically sent to me.

“Honey, you have to promise me that you will watch out—--” His mind-link connection was temporarily disconnected before he said in a strained voice ‘watch…out…for…him.’ And just like that I lost the connection to my father.

Shortly after I heard the panicked voices of pack house staff outside the bedroom door.
