Maya

I found him there, leaned against the door frame, with one hand in his pocket while in the other he kept an envelope with some takeaway food, his black hair was ruffled, and his blue eyes shone cheerfully. My heart started to freak out through my chest and I wasn’t sure if it was due to its devastating presence or the fact that most likely I had a fever.

I opted for the second.

"If you’ve come to fuck, it’s not your lucky day," I said, turning my back as I went to the kitchen.

"Wow, what a way to greet," he said as he entered and closed the door, "Have you become a vampire?" He went on lighting some lights while I went into the kitchen to swallow my medicine.

I heard Nate come in behind me and put the envelope on the table.

"Are you okay?" he asked, there was a hint of concern in his tone of voice.

"Ready to run the Boston Marathon," I replied by sending down my pills and coughing loudly.
