I clenched my jaw as I steeled back my hand hanging from the air to stop myself from doing anything to stop Lucrezia from leaving and put myself on an unwanted state.
I didn’t want Lucrezia to leave, but there is nothing else I could do to stop her. I know I could just grab her and force her to stay if I wanted to, but I don’t want to give her the wrong signals.
