It was early morning and she didn't felt right. Something was wrong with her, she felt herself puking many times and feeling all nauseous and tired. She didn't felt the appetite to eat her breakfast, although she didn't even had her dinner the night before. She tried taking a walk in the fresh air, but felt her legs too numb for that. She just wanted to sleep all day, and lie in bed.
Amber was a bit worried by her behavior but especially from Dawson's behavior whom she didn't witness in the morning. He didn't even had his breakfast, neither appeared from his room. And she just got to know that he left for office in the early morning. It was indeed surprising for her because it never happened with him that he become so much hideous, one way or another she always had to face him in morning, either for breakfast or clothes. One thing for she was certain that something was wrong in between both of them. They both were disturbed by something.
He didn't know why he was doing it, he only wanted to remove her existence in front of his eyes. Something stirred in his heart when her eyes became moist, as if she was powerless in front of him. She was nothing, but just a mere target of his lustful sins whom he used. And now killing her will only add more guilt and discomfort to his already culpability which he is never going to admit. The clouds started to thunder in the sky as lightening struck them. The black sky growling as if it also reacted to his hate. The noise pierced through the ears. His jaw was tight, as he gritted his teeth. He unwrapped his fingers as he finally decided and made his decision. Her face turned back to life as she gasped through the air. She couldn't speak for a moment as she stared him with confused eyes. What was wrong with him? She couldn't understand. It was out of blue.He grabbed her by her wrist as he pulled her behind him.
She sat against the door until she heard a small noise. She lifted her head to look in the direction. The rain still didn't stopped, the water pour down heavily as if crying along with her. A slight window in the gates was open, which was so small that only a hand could pass through it. She stood up to look who opened it, and if she can beg them to let her in. It was dark, desolate and scary out there. The empty streets with no light were not only insecure but also unfamiliar. As if she never saw such sight in those months. It has been a long time, since she arrived there and got enclosed in that home of his where she was never able to witness the environment outside the walls for months. And it all felt so awkwardly strange. A hand came forward from inside the window. Before she could speak or even utter a word, the thing which came in view froze her. It was Amber's hand but it did not surprised her. The thing which shook her was in her hand. That journal. Samantha's diary,
She didn't had many options to chose neither much time. It was the moment, she had to decide. She closed her eyes, thinking if she should reveal the truth to him.FlashbackShe picked up the glass of water and headed towards the Ruby's room, because she knew that once Ruby shared with her, that she becomes thirsty in the middle of night and it's really difficult for her to step out of the room in darkness.Surprisingly the door was open, so she entered. As she looked everywhere, Ruby was nowhere to be seen. She placed the glass on the bedside table and motioned in the direction of bathroom, to check up on her. It was already 12 in the morning, so there was no chance that she leaves her room at this hour. She opened the bathroom door and peeked inside. There was no noise to be heard or anyone to be seen. She stepped inside and just then her eyes caught something unusual on the ba
She was drenched in the water and her eyes half closed. She tried to focus but everything was blurred. She felt herself getting heat up, as if she had a high fever. She didn't know if someone would come to save her not, or if she'll die like this. It was still dark, an hour more for the sun to rise and take away the shadows. She didn't know who it was, but she saw someone coming towards her and saying something. It more felt like a question to her as the woman waited for an answer. But her lips couldn't move as if her whole body was jammed. She wanted to lift her finger and tell her that she wants to go inside, back inside her cage but the owner is being ruthless. But she was unable to say any word. The woman helped her to stand, and led Ruby to her car, which she only recognized as a red object. She made her sit in and covered her with a blanket. The woman kept asking her something, but she couldn't process c
The days went along, and Dawson was back on his previous life. He learned to control his emotions after Joseph gave him a long lecture. And he himself also realized that she was not worth it, even she carried his baby, she'll have to come to him once in her life for his rights. Because everyone knows she can't afford her own expenses, and raising a child as a single parent is beyond that. This way or that way, he promised himself that he will find her soon, and will snatch the baby away, and that's what matters to him. He shouldn't be crying for a mere girl who already made his living life miserable than ever. Every night, he had new visitors, and in the morning signing deals with his partners. Drinking beer, and smoking all night, suffering insomnia, that's what his life become. He worked day and night like a workaholic to carry on with himself. Sometimes he wondered if he was a dollar printing machine, because it was no different from it. Jason left for Manchester just after the
"what do you think Joseph, how much it will take to find her! It's already been a month" he was running out of patience now. "I'm already trying my best sir, but I want to ask you something frankly " he hesitated to say it. "Go on""First you brought her here to avenge her, then you saved her from that man you choose yourself for her, then you used your own methods to hurt her. And when your brother was getting interested her, you suddenly abandoned her. And now since the same day, you want her back when she's gone. I can't understand any if this" it was very hard to understand his complicated emotions whenever it was about her. Joseph was ready bet, that he never saw Dawson this much confused in any other matter. Dawson didn't know what he was exactly doing, his intentions was very much unclear. "I was wrong about her Joseph. She is not solely responsible for whatever happened in the past, she also suffered the same consequences which I went through alone. I misjudged her. But I
"are you okay Ruby?" Sister Amelia asked her as her face looked flustered. "Yes I'm fine, thanks" she replied with a forced smile. "Well then, come for lunch, we're all waiting for you" she told her as she stepped out. "I don't have appetite, I'll skip it" Ruby replied with a bored face. "Okay as you say, but if you feel like eating, have your food, it's always available in the pantry" she suggested. "Thankyou sister" Was it the right thing to do? To kill your own flesh? Ruby felt like she was committing a murder, without holding a weapon, she felt like she was taking some innocent life. Although she made her final decision to end this growing life inside her, but she was still unsure about it, after all it was all not just about him. This baby was her own flesh, breathing her oxygen, growing in her body, how she can remove her own part? It was not just difficult but aj impossible task for a mother. She placed her hand on her belly, feeling the living being inside it. She wa
"I've not become ill-mannered but now I've known the truth and you deserve all the filthy words of this world Mr Dawson! I hate you! I loathe you! I despise you!" She seethes as if she wanted to spit at him, unable to maintain the proximity with him. His head went back in a haze as if he will kill her any moment. She repeated the same words to him, which he said to her that day while kicking her out. He didn't know the exact reason for which she hated him but somehow it felt like her rage was building up due to some other reason. And he was not aware. "Shut your fucking mouth Ruby! I know you're mad that I kicked you out that day without giving you any reason but you also wanted to go! I kidnapped you here and then I released you! But how can you do this to me? " The sudden question and politeness in his voice struck her. What he was talking about? She thought. He was the one to be blamed! For everything he did to her since the beginning! How can he blame her for anything? She w
