I didn't want to involve the police but telling Jade was almost the same as telling the student union because I was ready to go all out and "get justice". I told her not to though. I was thinking about what to do when a call came through. I swiped without checking it and put it on my right ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey Eve, I haven't seen or heard from you lately so...", I definitely didn't expect him to call me. "Would you like to go out with me tonight?"

"Yes!!", That came out way too fast and I cleared my throat. "I meant yeah sure, I'm free tonight"
