04 | Dazed

The only thing that was keeping me warm was Zev's touch. Even though I was wearing a leather jacket, the cool breeze still managed to make me shake. To my fortune, Zev didn't let go of my hand as we left the dingy club.

I was not drunk, not even close to one yet I still allowed him to take me someplace else because I told him so. He didn't even hesitate to do it. I was holding hands with a complete stranger, letting him take me into the wilderness of the night.

We stopped by a bike that was too humungous for my liking. I eyed it skeptically, afraid that it was his, that I'll be forced to ride it, and eventually be the death of me.

“I brought my car,” I said, trying to persuade him. “I'm not riding that monstrosity.”
