Lilith POV
I stayed behind at the Devils Lare while Damon went to mend things with his brother, I needed to process everything I was told. Damon tried to convince me that I should head back with him to the apartment, especially since so many bodies keep popping up, but I didn't want to, it was my turn wanting to be alone.
I didn't have my phone with me, so he left his behind, just in case I need a ride, or— if anything happens.
Shoving the phone into my pocket, something rubbed against my fingers, So I pulled it out, immediately recognizing what it was, it's my lucky coin. Perhaps it isn't fortunate as I think it is, because all I've experienced so far is bad luck.
