Chapter 24: Derrick recalled his past

Luis smiled and said to Nora "Do you remember the address of your house in Venice?"

"Yes" replied Nora.

"Write it down for me (He gave her his book and a pen and Nora wrote down the address). Good"

"But what do you need the address for," asked Nora curiously.

"Because there is no place like home" replied Luis still smiling.

Lily looked at him with a frown.

"Why did you become a nanny if you were working in an office before," Luis asked curiously.

"My late husband was the CEO of the company and he employed me. So, when he died, his successor fired me" she said sadly.

"I will get you out of here. I promise" Luis said and left with Lily back to the hotel.

It was almost dark when they arrived at the hotel. Luis was booking a flight for two to Venice when Lily stopped him saying she preferred to stay back.

"It's just 3 days. You can leave me here at the hotel. Aunty Nora is going through a lot right now. She will need someone to be by her side" Lily said.
