Chapter 40: What Happened to Lily

Derrick, John and Luis were all in Lily's apartment in Florida. Derrick and Luis kept disagreeing on which one of them could go check up on Lily. John appears to be helpless in the whole situation when they hear a loud scream coming from Lily's room. All three men rushed upstairs to her room. The housekeeper also rushed out of the kitchen to the corridor leading to the staircase that leads to Lily's room.

Derrick flung the door open and entered upon arriving on Lily's room floor and he was followed by Luis. John was the last to enter. Derrick froze in his steps at the sight before him. Luis who was right behind him, moved to the side to see what had made Derrick stop in his tracks only to have his jaw drop. John stood at the entrance, covering his eyes immediately.

Derrick moved closer to Lily's bed to pick her up but Luis realised what Derrick was about to do and stopped him immediately.

"Stop, don't touch her. It is a crime scene now. Touching her will have your prints all over
