Chapter 48: What?

Luis, through his investigation, had found evidence that showed that Lily was the one who alerted Jennifer and Sheila about the police. He was livid to find out Lily was involved. He took his anger out on Rose, his servant, and was later apologetic about how he treated her. So he went to her room, apologized, and helped her treat her wound to make amends. Luis returned to his room, tossing, and turning on his bed unable to sleep.

Derrick and Lily have arrived at Derrick's apartment. Lily went straight to her room to rest, and Derrick went to the kitchen and instructed the servant to prepare some tea for Lily.

Derrick went to Lily's room and knocked on the door. He entered after hearing Lily permit him to enter. Lily was sitting on the bed and the book she was reading was on the bedside table. She looked at the book for a while before turning her gaze to Derrick sitting on the chair next to the study table in the room.

"How are you feeling?" He asked looking at her
