Chapter 50~Choosing Death

It had stopped raining and the strong wind had ceased. That did not mean it was not cold though, the chill was evident in the cave and there were a few wild animals that could be heard.

Lin was sitting in the corner of the cave, her eyes tired from crying so much and her body feeling like she had run a marathon.

She did not know what to do, honestly. First, she choosing to remain in the quest only put her own life at risk. But now it was different.

Now, the life of Hunter also was at risk. And as much as a part of her wanted him to die as karma for what he had done to her parents, a bigger part of her wanted the opposite.

Funny enough, she did not hate the guy. She somehow understood why he did it. But it still did not give him the right though.

Hunter killing her parents was something that Lin was never going to forget, but it was something that she could maybe try to forgive him for.

It was going to take a while, but at least the possibility of forgiveness was on the table.
