Chapter 61: Filthy Money

DOES A person’s conduct alter when he or she becomes rich and powerful? When a person gets a lot of money, all they want to do is use it for wickedness. Or maybe, they still don’t get enough money, so they will do everything in their power to just continue to increase it.

I drew my gaze to the comment section as it rang out in a sequential manner after Adrastos’s previous utterance of the sentences. I’m confident they’ll provide a substantial quantity of money in trade for my life for me to die.

What form of death may I expect at their hands? I don’t want them to murder me slowly while waiting for my body to suffocate. I want to die without feeling pain because I despise it. I want to die quickly so that I may be with my family in the next life and give them the justice they deserve.
