Chapter 43 "Reading My Intention Right"

Ryan’s POV

When Slyvester approached us, the only thought I had been to get out of the place ASAP. I could not look straight into Slyvester, nor remembered what he and Terban talked about in the process.

Then Terban pulled me out of the restaurant. Arriving outside felt as if the thorn in my throat was pulled out. Yet, I was guilty of acting oddly and of creating a ruckus.

“I am sorry,” I said with a sigh.

Terban stopped walking and looked at me. I could not lift my head to face him though.

“Because of me, we couldn’t eat. Let’s look for another place. I will pay this time.”

“No. Let’s just go back home.”

‘Is he sulky?’ I lifted my head to see if he was really sulky. But he was not. Rather, Terban was so mad.

His sharp eyes made my palms clammy. He was jutting his jaws while his brows met in the middle of his forehead. He was angry and disappointed in me; I could tell that.

“I took you out to enjoy,” he murmured, “Well, it looks like you won’t enjoy it. At the end of the
