I walk to the living room and call my mom. She answers on the first ring.
Mom: Abby! Thank Goddess, you made it there.
Me: Yes, I did. Yara said you were freaking out.
Mom: Not really freaking out... just worried. We heard about a trap that Dina set up.
Me: We took an alternate route and one of Damien's security teams found it. We currently have them in Damien's dungeons.
Mom: Okay. I'm glad you got there safely. How are you feeling.
Me: Sore, but okay. I have a constant small headache, but nothing a little ibuprofen won't take care of. OH! Guess what?

Abby POV I honestly thought I was still dreaming when I woke up in Damien's arms. The sparks were going crazy, all over my body. They just wanted me to get even close to him.
