CXLIV. Surprising Meeting
The appointment that Oneil set for himself with his cousin was supposed to be just between themselves. But Niana brought Corrine. He couldn't deny the brewing glare from his eyes as the coming scene before him is quite disappointing. However, he refrained from questioning Niana why Corrine is with her.
"We just met along the way since I found out that you're back," Corrine stated and took a seat without the invitation of Oneil.
Instead of brushing her off from the conversation, Oneil chose to be calm and forced himself to make a friendly nod. But his gaze are still serious towards Niana. It reminded Niana that Oneil called her for something important.
"Since I'm here and this is the only vacant time I have over the week, why not just tell it to me?"
Oneil would never bite a feigned simplicity of the situation. So he only proceeded on asking Niana how she has been.
"Is that what you're just going to ask me for this appointment?" Niana got even amuse

It was a timely night that Oneil's car got issues and he needed to tow it to the car workshop. Niana and Corrine went home by the coming of their chauffeur. On the other hand, Jacques intended to accompany Oneil at the workshop. Jacques watched their repairmen on how they attend to the problems of the machine parts while Oneil was referred to the cashier portion of the shop. The teller told him for the total payment he has to make and was supposed to promote a few products and car accessories that Oneil might like.
