Niana understands that Gwyneth must have liked Essi very much for Oneil. She can see it on the way that she describes Essi to her. Gwyneth says that Oneil must be lucky enough because Essi still has feelings for him although he forgot about her.

Essi knows the likes of Oneil in terms of dealing their own problems. That is why she had for sometime believed that they could be in sync, because they tend to solve their problems first before telling it to others or attend their emotional breakdowns.
