Sarah however kept on being stubborn and uncooperative.

Her arms were crossed, and she wore a scowl that made it clear she had no interest in helping us.

"I've already told you, I'm not going to help," Sarah insisted, her tone cold and unyielding. "Whatever happens to Lora is not my problem, and I don't see why we should risk our lives for her."

My anger flared at her words, and I slammed my fist onto the table, causing everyone in the room to jump. "Enough, Sarah!" I barked, glaring at her. "Lora is my mate, and that makes her your Luna, whether you like it or not. Your lack of loyalty and support is unacceptable."

Sarah's eyes widened at the intensity of my anger, but she still refused to back down. "I don't care if she's your mate, Blake. I won't help you save her. After everything they did to us, I'm supposed to wave it all away because what? She came in here unannounced and set her stupid claws on you? Not going to happen blud."
