59: Perhaps I could see her

Bruno turned his back, pulling open the curtains, revealing the hint of dawn on the horizon. He sank into his leather chair, closing his eyes to rest.

The alarm rang out in the spacious bedroom. Lizzie frowned at the intrusive sound. It wasn't until after it had echoed persistently, that she finally got up from her place on the couch and grabbed her phone from her handbag to switch it off. She had forgotten to turn off the alarm the previous night, as she had no classes today. Replacing her phone back into her bag, she noticed the cushion that had fallen on the floor. It occurred to her that she fell asleep on the couch the previous night. How did she end up on the bed? Could it be him? That was hardly possible!

However, if it wasn't him, how did she end up on the bed?
