40. Being a true host

As there was Alpha's meeting with the King, I didn't have to prepare today. The special lunch is brought from some high-end restaurant for them. Hm… But for dinner, Ruby called me just in time. I had no other way but to agree to what they demand now. It's been a few days since the King and his family along with other Lycans came to our pack. But, there was not even a single gathering or event for normal people to meet the King. Alpha Gerald has strictly advised avoiding the area where lycans stay. As the future beta, I couldn't even meet him once. Hm… Can't blame Alpha Gerald. As the King is infamous for his short temper and he is a person who enjoys privacy unless there is an important public event he should attend to.
