Antonio's POV :

After the meeting, I was feeling a bit exhausted. Instead of going to my chamber, I went to the lake. I know Kay must be out with some duties, but I just wanted to check if I got any luck. I missed her already. Not only me but Josh too. He had gotten addicted to her since last night, and he was making me frustrated by urging me to see her.

As I passed through the treehouse, I got her faint scent. Is she home??

I quickly went inside and found the main door locked. What is she up to??

I thought about knocking at first, then I thought I should surprise her.

It was easy for me to open it with a thud. But, I chose the window instead. To my shock, I got a scent of blood not just any blood, but alpha blood near the window. It wasn't easily recognisable when I stood at the main door. But, here it was. I am sure I haven't mistaken it for rogue blood. And it looks a bit fresh too. Like, it was here for only a few hours…!!
