16: Bittersweet

Multicolored lights illuminated the bar I'd walked into, three hours ago. Music played in the background and I zoned out on my stool. I stared at my glass of vodka for a moment. Then, I picked it up and downed it's content. Sighing, I ran my fingers through my hair. After leaving Mikael's home, there was one question on my mind. A question that I couldn't get the answer to. I'd stayed up last night, trying to figure out why Hera had chosen to get me reincarnated in this life time. Don't get me wrong, I want to live. But, what if the reason I was reincarnated, is to stop Mikael from being free from the curse? What if I was supposed to become Hera's secret weapon? These thoughts made me feel incredibly uneasy.
