I could definitely get used to waking up like this.

Alex was staring at Xavier’s sleeping form, watching the pale eyelashes tremble with each controlled breath. He looked so calm, so ethereal, the blearily light from outside making the vampire glow.

He was tempted to caress the pale face but feared disturbing his sleep. He had awoken much earlier at the excitement of seeing Jamie after what felt like years, the thought jabbing at him to spring out of bed to start getting ready even if dawn had just broke.
