I screamed, my brain could do nothing else. An arm went around my waist and another around my shoulders. I tried to struggle, but I was never a great fighter and Taylor always said he would be around to protect me. In a moment, I understood what Leah and her friends were up to. He was a huge part of helping us build this and not having him here to help rebuild breaks my heart. I still want to find out who his mate was and what happened.
