A knock came on the door, and I got downstairs quickly. The last time I opened the door for someone, it was the woman I used to call Mother. She had expected me to forgive her. She didn't know that I was still so cold-hearted.
I opened the door, and it revealed Jocelyn with Zion. I used to see them together every time. Didn't they ever get tired of being with each other at every second of each day? It was completely strange to me.
"We finally found a spell to destroy the stake," Jocelyn announced.
I smiled broadly. Finally, we could get rid of the stake forever. I had tried to destroy it by incineration, but it didn't work. I forgot that Suzana made it and couldn't be destroyed that easily.
