Philomena and Solomon sat together, laughing as they looked at his phone. I had come downstairs because of their noise. I was trying to have some sleep, but my super-hearing kept on sweeping their laughter into my head. I stood behind them noiselessly. I was angry when I found out that they were watching cat videos.
"You two can bring the stars down with your laughter," I announced from behind them.
"Sorry, Desmond," Philomena apologized. "Solomon was just showing me some hilarious videos."
She brought the phone to my face. I bent backwards and squinted.
"Here, watch," she said, smiling.
