"I cannot believe I am seeing you here," she said.
I clenched my jaws and smiled back. Javicia could be so dangerous when she wanted to be. To this day, she was the only witch that had managed to defeat us so quickly. That was in 1465, and I felt that we would be more robust now and had a vast knowledge of experience from her kind.
"Honestly, I forgot about you," I confessed.
I wasn't lying. It was a one-night stand, and I had disappeared from Liverpool after that. I never wanted her to see me again. I didn't know she would still be interested in me till now. That was over six hundred years ago. She raised an eyebrow at me as she heard that.
