Gabriel rushed back with a slightly faint speed. He wanted to get to Laura quickly before she got a hint of his surprise.
Yeah, a surprise! Her birthday was coming up in a week time and he was prepared for it. All the grand gestures were to keep her mind out of it.
Slowly, he approached the spot he left her a few minutes ago. The sight before him didn't make sense. He felt like crying.
Where is the Laura that I left here? He thought and panic.
Looking at the scene he already knew what happened..Her ice cream was scattered on the ground, her phone shattered and a piece of cloth roughly laid on the floor.
He sucked in breath and walked closer to the item. Swiftly pulling it up, he froze at the situation.
He looked at the item with confusion and anger. Right there was written boldly and clearly, "Your beloved shall never be seen by you again! I'll make sure of that" that was the answer to his question.
