Zach's PoV

I'm at my wits end where Yana is concerned at this point. After her meeting at work, we spoke at length, and I've been begging her to take out a restraining order against Damon.

She refused to do so, claiming she doesn't want to worsen the situation. Is she waiting for him to make the first move? Entering the kitchen, she's seated at the island having breakfast. "Good morning." I state dryly.

Yana glances up at me briefly, "Morning, your breakfast is in the microwave."

Sighing, I retrieve it and opt to eat in silence. I watch vigilantly as she eats, washes her plate and attempts to leave.
