Chapter 74

Zach's PoV

The tears just won't stop, I'm a complete mess! Everything was going well until the unexpected happened, now I may lose Yana forever. She lost about a pint of blood during the difficult labour and even went into respiratory arrest. Things went sideways when Dr. Chambers administered Oxytocin to help her uterus contract, but it didn't work as we'd hoped.

I watched helplessly as Yana was placed in a medically induced coma, then rushed to the Intensive Care Unit for close monitoring by the medical team. When King was finally placed in my arms briefly, I cried like a baby when he slightly grasped my finger. Moments later, he was whisked away by the NICU team and placed in an incubator until his health improves.
