"I always hate this part the most" Diana's voice rang out softly, choked with emotion. She was hugging Jacob goodbye, for the third time. But this time, her embrace had an air of finality. She clung to him, her fingers wound tightly in the fabric of his coat, her resolve not to let him go etched in every line of her body. Her tears, once delicately balanced on the edge of her lashes, now streamed freely down her face, a silent testament to her struggle to suppress her sobs.
