Chapter 69

The conversation between Emily and Jeffry on the phone ended with an invitation to dinner at Jeffry's residence. Emily could not refuse because, as a tactic, Jeffry said that his daughter asked him to invite Emily.

Although Emily was still upset with the man, not with his daughter, that's why Emily accidentally immediately said yes when Jeffry firmly invited her; even the woman could bring Shila if she wanted.

Unfortunately, Shila doesn't want to interfere with the opportunity for Emily and Jeffry to get to know each other better.

And the day arrived. Emily was already grooming herself in front of the mirror, making sure that the dress she wore fit her body and didn't look weird because of her bulging belly, which made Emily smile more often every time she looked at herself with her big belly in the mirror.

She couldn't wait to hold her baby. However, of course, it was still quite a while, and for now, she could only fantasize and keep hoping that the time would come sooner.
