Chapter 97

For the first time, Jason sees a cute little angel in the form of a baby. Liam, who had been crying, calmed down after Tamara gave him a bottle of milk which he managed to finish.

Jason was so amazed, then lifted the baby in his arms. He looked at Liam's face, who was fast asleep; in his heart, Jason felt a vibration that he could not explain even with words.

There was something in that baby that made him feel attached.

"What's his name?" Jason asked the woman in his arms.

"His name?" Tamara shook her head. "Oh, my God. I was so messed up I forgot to give him a name. Do you have any ideas? Surely he'll have McKennel after his name."

Jason's brow furrowed. He would have loved to be allowed to name the baby. However, the baby was Jared's.

"Come on, Jase. You can name your nephew." Tamara turned to face the man still holding Liam. "Besides, if we're back together, it makes no difference if it's your baby or not; you're still the father."
