Chapter Four - A Familiar Face In Starry Seoul

His heart stopped at who he saw in front of him. "Amias?" the voice repeated as the man stepped forward.

"Taehyun? what are you doing here?" he said as he picked up the fallen clothes, placing them onto a nearby couch before facing his friend.

"I work here as a model nowadays. I can see that your English has improved since we last talked." he teased causing Amias to roll his eyes.

"It's only been three years. Plus, only one of us was actual born in Korea, Mr California." he remarked poking his friends shoulder.

Taehyun smirked folding his arms, "Whatever, but it is good to see you, smartass." he replied sticking his tongue out at him.

Amias laughed before returning the sentiment,

"You too, dork." he retorted returning the gesture with his own tongue.

The two chatted for a while longer until Amias was dragged off by his stylist who was pissed that he hadn't bothered getting changed yet.

Once, he had finally changed, Amias did the photoshoot without an issue and was handed a schedule that he was required to follow from now. His new manager would be at his apartment early tomorrow to pick him up to go to training. After, being introduced to his new manager, Ji Neul, he was allowed to go home. Amias could not wait to get home and wash the now caking foundation from his face and clean his hair, before the gel hardened into a rock. He decided to take a stroll, before going back to his apartment. The evening dwindled down; the streets were chill as the air cooled into a breeze that resembled Autumn. He continued on his path passing stray tomcats from time to time. His mind daydreamed but he could not help but feel like he had an important thing to do tonight. A loud horn blowing caught his attention, to the side of him across the street was the dock where a plethora of red and white cargo ships were going back and forth. He crossed the road, taking in the subtle smell of salt air that wafted over from the sea and the cargo.

Leaning against the silver railing he continued to watch the boats, before tipping his head up to the heavens. The light purplish sky was covered in a palette of stars, each one sparkled like speckles of glitter brightening the canvas of the universe. The sun grew into a deep blood orange as it disappeared further into the sea. He sighed; the dark blue ocean shimmered with the waves moving placidly. His thoughts returned to the events of the day. Seeing Taehyun, had brought back pleasant memories but reminded him of what he needed to do. His life was set to change course, this excited him but made him worry about what Serenity and her family might do to him in retaliation. His company did not know that he was married. So, in order for him to avoid a scandal that could tank his yet to be established career he would need to keep pretending that was not whilst he lived here. He felt someone collide with him, before the individual mumbled something incoherent to him. He turned his head to see a drunken old man hobbling past him, he laughed at the man's antics, before his face fell.

He smacked his forehead as something dawned on him, "The dinner!" he yelled within his mind as he recalled the dinner he agreed to attended with Mr Hua. Looking around frantically, he bit his lip, panic filled him causing his fingers to shake. The name of the restaurant evaded his mind, he checked his watch and was on the verge of having a stroke, he was ten minutes late. He took off running, trying to dive past the people walking their dogs and dived across the street. A bright white light caught the corner of his eye as breaks screeched and a woman screamed.
