Chapter 33 - Once A Player, Always A Player

Cassandra couldn’t take another step as she became weak - kneed and began to wobble. 

Corrine and Jean were quick to respond to Cassandra and held her arms to make her steady. Cassandra’s eyes were fixed on Marty. He pulled a chair for the woman. While it was only Marty's side profile that she could see, Cassandra could tell that Marty was smiling at the woman because the corner of his lips curled up. 

Jean and Corrine followed Cassandra’s line of sight and saw Marty with a woman. 

“Corrine, Jean, let’s dine in another restaurant.” Cassandra's voice quavered and her eyes pooled with tears. 

"Don't you want to talk to him?" asked Jean, while they were leaving the restaurant.
