Chapter 36: Bail's Been Posted

Sheriff's Report: Over the weekend there were two cars pulled over for speeding. One was given a warning and the other a citation. Mary Pickens called in an incident that we later deemed to be a prank. Some teens in the area had been running around ringing people's doorbells and running away. Mrs. Pickens called the police at 2024 pm after answering the door and hearing screams. Two arrests were made this weekend. Police were called to the King residence on Saturday at 1935. Charges against Roger King were dismissed. Austin King was released on bail.

"Hello my little sweet potato," Austin said as Reece came over to him as they entered Laura's house. Shelby loved watching him interact with that little girl. It gave her hope for their life together and their children that they'd have someday.
