I woke to the blazing sound of my mobile. I groaned and opened my eyes and tried to reach the phone with my hands. When my fingertips felt it, I picked it up and pressed it to my ear. “Hello?”

“Moaning already, sleepyhead?” Brett’s voice reached my ear.

“What do you want?” I asked.

“I want you,” he said in a dangerously seductive tone.

“I’m going to hang up if you’re not going to make any sense,” I warn him.

He chuckled. “Okay..okay.. so, we’ve left for our practice two hours ago, and we knew you’d still be asleep. We’ll give you an hour and a half to get ready so that we can leave for lunch.”

“Okay..” I said, yawning.

“I’m going to call you after some time to check if you’re ready.” He said. “So get up and move.”

I rolled my eyes and hung upon him. I looked to my right to see Sapphire already awake. The sound of my ringtone might have woken her up.
