"I didn't know you could cook," she said as she watched me flip a bacon.

With a laugh, I replied, "I grew up in a Latino household where cooking is a basic skill. Everyone has to know how to cook or else you're a disapointment."

"Really? Then why do you never cook at home?"

I shrugged. "Well, we have private cooks that are trained and certainly more credible to cook than me. And I am always busy with work so I have no time to do house errands."
