Chapter 52 – Closing Distances

I leave Fallon's side for a few minutes and she's already nowhere to be found.

Sighing, I walked out of the empty room and looked around, hoping to see a shadow of her.

The mansion was breached and I came inside to check if my wife was okay. The rage currently swirling inside me is uncontrollable but I have to keep a calm mind in this situation.

Our defense is getting too sloppy that I know I'm gonna have to re-discipline my men after this is all over.

The strict frown on my face intensified when I came to check on Jaguar, his name being one of the useless things he told us, and found out he had escaped. I hadn't killed him yet but I injured him to the point of near-death so it's a real wonder how he uncuffed and unlocked the cell—unless, this was an inside job. Then it would be a more serious problem because that person if remained on the loose, would rot the mafia from the inside.

"Look for your mistress!"

I barked the order at anyone I crossed paths with as I made my way outsi
