"I'm so sorry babe, I didn't mean to upset you. I was just playing around and I don't think it would upset you so much," I pleaded guiltily, following behind Alejandro and hoping he would stop being upset with me.

I didn't think that he was going to take my joke so personally and be this upset with me but to my surprise, he was a lot more displeased by my actions than I expected him to be and I couldn't help but feel bad because he hasn't spoken to me since we left the beach.

"I didn't mean to upset you, Alejandro. I just thought it would be a funny prank and I apologise for doing what I did and for not thinking of how my actions were going to bother you. Can you just try to understand that I was just trying to have fun with you," I said, trying not to sound too defensive even though I felt like he was kind of overreacting.
